Dr Shez Peerbux completed his medical degree from Deakin University in 2018. He has worked in regional Victoria (Shepparton) as well as several hospitals across metropolitan Melbourne (St Vincent’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Austin Health, Northern Health, Western Health), predominantly in Surgery and Emergency medicine before making the transition to Family Medicine.

His favourite part of being a doctor is being able to follow and guide patients and their families through their medical journey and constantly learning something new each day. Shez is passionate about all aspects of family medicine with an emphasis on evidence-based patient-centred care. He has particular interests in mental health, travel medicine, paediatrics, men’s health and minor surgical procedures.

Outside of medicine, Dr Shez enjoys running, hiking, snorkeling/scuba diving and travelling with his wife, two young boys and extended family.
