COVID-19 VACCINES – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Summit Medical Group has been a part of the COVID-19 Vaccine rollout since April 2021 and will continue to serve the community by administering the Adult Moderna and Pfizer Vaccinations for those aged 18 years and above.

We are currently not administering COVID vaccines for those younger than 18 years of age.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free and the vaccination service will be bulk-billed for all eligible patients with a Medicare card.  (Please note: if you are eligible but do not have a Medicare card you cannot be vaccinated at this practice.  You will need to attend a Respiratory Clinic or State Vaccination Clinic to get vaccinated)

Our nursing and medical staff who will be administering the vaccine have all completed the mandatory training and obtained the necessary certification.

If you have any questions regarding COVID-19 vaccinations, especially if you have questions related to your specific medical history, we suggest that you make a time to discuss this with your regular GP, prior to having the vaccine.
