Dr Mariam Tokhi














Dr Mariam Tokhi enjoys working with diverse patients across a range of ages to improve their health. She is passionate about walking alongside you in your health journey: supporting you to stay well and thrive, caring for you when unwell, and helping you navigate local healthcare when needed. Dr Tokhi is passionate about evidence-based, whole-person care.

She has interests in women’s and children’s health, mental health, aged care, and chronic disease management. Mariam has a particular interest in contraception and family planning, and is a skilled provider of Implanon NXT, Mirena and Copper IUD insertion. Dr Tokhi completed her medical degree at Monash University and a Masters of Public Health (Johns Hopkins School of Public Health).  She has a Fellowship in General Practice (RACGP), and special skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG).

Outside of her clinical work, Mariam teaches at Melbourne University; parents two small, lively humans, and is studying Narrative Medicine.
